Crochet Baby Hat

My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was 6 or 7 but I never really learned to do it properly, so I decided to take a class at the knit shop.  This baby hat was the project we made.  It’s mostly double crochets and a really fun daisy stitch, then finishes with eyelets and a ruffle.  It’s really fun and goes very fast!  Mine needs a little wider ribbon strung through the eyelets, but I only had narrow ribbon on hand.

Can’t say that I’d want to do a lot of crochet but it is fun for a change of pace.
