Mini-Laptop/Netbook Cozy

Just a little somethin’ I’m working on…

This is my new toy: a Dell Inspiron Mini 9.  The “9″ refers to 9-inches — that’s all the bigger it is!  It runs Windows XP and has Microsoft Office on it.  While it’s not good for any heavy computing, it’s great for a lot of what I do at home.

The best part though? It fits in my purse.  (My purse currently being a Namaste Zuma in eggplant.)

The problem with that is that I also carry about 8-million other things in my purse at any given time, and I don’t want the latptop getting scratched up.  Solution?  Why, knit a cozy of course!

So I went to my stash and dug around till I found three skeins of Berocco Love-It and I’ve started working on a cozy.  I didn’t have enough yardage in a single color, so I’m doing some slip-stitch color work.  I’m writing the pattern up as I go.  I’m really anxious to see how it turns out.
